Lynn Caudle BoyntonLynn Caudle Boynton
Lynn Caudle Boynton earned her B.A. from the University of Maryland in 1979 and her J.D. from the University of Baltimore in 1982. Ms. Boynton is a member of the Maryland and District of Columbia Bars. She is a long time resident of the Washington Metropolitan area.

Ms. Boynton has practiced locally since 1982, beginning with her clerkship to the Honorable John F. McAuliffe, then of the Circuit Court for Montgomery County, Maryland.. Lynn was an associate for Conroy, Fitzgerald, Ballman & Ridgeway in their Gaithersburg office from 1983 to 1986 and Debelius, Clifford & Debelius in their Gaithersburg office from 1986 to 1992. Lynn practiced law with Henry C. Clarke, Jr., from 1992-2001 and they co-owned Signature Settlement Services in Montgomery Village, Maryland beginning in 2001. Lynn is a member of the Bar Association of Montgomery County, MD (BAMC.ORG), Inns of Court, Maryland State Bar Association( MSBA), Bar Association for Frederick County, MD, Women’s Bar Association (WBA) Greater Capital Area Association of Realtors (GCAAR), Women’s Council of Realtors (WCR), Maryland Land Title Association (MLTA), American Land Title Association (ALTA), Maryland Association of Mortgage Brokers (MAMB), Union Plus Legal Services Panel Attorney (UNIONPLUS.ORG), American Bar Association (ABA), American Association of Retired Persons Panel Attorney (AARP) and is a licensed title agent with Fidelity National Title and Lawyers National Title Insurance Corporation.

She has substantial experience in a broad range of commercial and residential real estate matters, as well as probate, estate planning and business entity formation. Lynn manages Olde Key Title, LLC, with Ethridge, Quinn, Kemp, McAuliffe, Rowan & Hartinger serving as of counsel. Lynn is AV rated by Martindale Hubbell, a national peer rating service, A represents competency and V represents ethics, both of which are the highest ratings an attorney can achieve. Lynn represented Montgomery County, MD in the purchase of 26 properties that comprise the Silver Spring Urban Renewal Project and also represents Maryland National Capital Parks and Planning in real property acquisition transactions.

Lynn’s extensive real estate background over almost 30 years coupled with her estate planning and probate practice make it possible for her to protect clients' best interests taking into consideration the implications a real estate transaction may have on estate planning and is capable of “funding” trusts for estate planning clients if it is part of the agreed upon estate plan.  Lynn has completed the 40-hour mediation training as well as additional continuing education which qualifies her to act as a mediator in mediation matters.  Lynn continues to seek education in the field at every opportunity, as so much of what she does involves mediation of issues between parties.

Lynn resides in Rockville with her husband, Lawrence B. Pendleton, IV and their five children. Lynn has always been active in her community, sitting on her children’s school boards and community associations since the early 1980’s, volunteering and acting as counsel for Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County, MD and Stepping Stones Shelter.

Grace M. GarrettGrace M. Garrett
Grace M. Garrett is a graduate of Hagerstown Business College, now known as Kaplan College, in Hagerstown, Maryland with a degree in Paralegal Studies. Grace has been employed at Ethridge, Quinn, Kemp, McAuliffe, Rowan & Hartinger, Attorneys at Law since March of 2008 and Olde Key Title since January of 2009. As a Settlement Processor for Olde Key Title’s offices located in both Rockville and Frederick, Maryland, Grace facilitates real estate settlements by properly preparing title binders, final title policies, HUD-1 Settlement Statements, and closing documents, gathering documents in preparation for settlement, and disbursing funds. Further, Grace is capable of tracking down unreleased mortgages or deeds of trust that are becoming more and more common, causing title problems for clients. As a Paralegal for Ethridge, Quinn, Kemp, McAuliffe, Rowan & Hartinger, Grace diligently gathers, organizes, and prepares documents for trials, as well as assists both clients and attorneys with the many details critical to each case.

Kathe M. HackneyKathe M. Hackney
Kathleen Mooney Hackney earned her B. S. from the University of Maryland in 1980, as a double major in Business and Economics. Born in Oweigo, NY, Kathe was raised and grew up in the Washington, DC area.

Kathe has considerable real estate settlement experience. Beginning in 2001, Ms. Hackney worked at Signature Settlement Services under the supervision of Lynn Caudle Boynton, Esquire. She handled postclosing matters including preparation of and training of other employees in the preparation of final loan packages following settlement. She also handled payoffs of loans, tracking of such payoffs when necessary and follow up on all areas of postclosing. Ms. Hackney joined Olde Key Title in 2006, having successfully completed Maryland Land Title Association classroom work and the Maryland Insurance Administration licensing exam necessary to become a licensed settlement closer. Kathe’s experience with post closing and attention to detail compliments her ability to handle closings as she truly understands all of the documents required in a typical closing and is therefore capable of explaining the documents so that clients have a complete understanding of the transaction.

Kathe also is instrumental in marketing Olde Key Title, developing and maintaining relationships with our clients, providing continuing education updates, legislative changes, etc that allow our clients to remain current. Kathe’s tremendous work ethic, desire to follow through on every detail and patience with all parties involved in a transaction make her a valuable asset of Olde Key Title.

She is a member of the Women’s Council of Realtors, Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce and participates regularly in Maryland Land Title Association and Fidelity National & Lawyers Title Insurance Corporation training.

Scott M. HartingerScott M. Hartinger
Scott M. Hartinger is a 1993 graduate of Mount Saint Mary's College in Emmitsburg, Maryland. He received his J.D. in 1996 from Widener University School of Law in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, where he was a member of the Criminal Law Society. Mr. Hartinger served as a Law Clerk for the Honorable James L. Ryan in the Circuit Court for Montgomery County, Maryland (1996-1997).

Mr. Hartinger practices in both Maryland and the District of Columbia, where he is admitted to practice by the following courts: Court of Appeals of Maryland, United States District Court for the District of Maryland, United States court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, District of Columbia Court of Appeals, United States District Court for the District of Columbia, United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit. His specialty areas of practice include: personal injury, real estate, workers’ compensation, business litigation, traffic/criminal, and domestic relations. Mr. Hartinger’s experience as a litigator further enhances the depth of Olde Key Title’s real estate practice, as title companies rarely have litigators among their practitioners. We can represent you without fear of facing litigation if it becomes necessary.

Mr. Hartinger is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association, the Frederick County Bar Association (President 2009, President-elect 2008, Treasurer 2007, and Secretary 2006), and the Montgomery County Bar Association. Through the bar associations as well as through individual efforts, he has been involved in volunteer efforts for various organizations throughout the community including being a member of the Advisory Board of the Boy’s and Girl’s Club of Frederick County.

Scott resides in Frederick with his wife Jennifer and their children, Thomas and Kate.

Karen PhillipsKaren Phillips
Karen Phillips has been with Olde Key Title since the company’s inception in 2006, and has over eight years of experience in real estate settlements, having worked with Lynn Caudle Boynton, Esquire since 2001. Karen is a Senior Settlement Processor for Olde Key Title’s offices located in both Rockville and Frederick, Maryland, and processes residential and commercial real estate transactions in Maryland and the District of Columbia. She is responsible for the entire closing process, from pre- to post-closing.  She proficiently coordinates the entire settlement process, from receipt of the contract through final disbursement of the funds from closing. Karen is responsible for preparing the HUD-1 Settlement Statements, and does so by efficiently working with lenders, buyers, sellers, surveyors and Home Owner’s Associaitons as well as by obtaining information on taxes and credits or charges that are related to the transactions. Karen is capable of preparing preliminary HUD-1 Settlement Statements in order to better estimate lender closing costs for Good Faith Estimate (GFE) purposes or simply to verify a buyer or seller's estimated closing costs and/or proceeds of sale.  After final disbursement, Karen prepares the recording documents and records them with the appropriate county. Karen ensures that each recording and disbursement is accurate and timely. Karen’s attention to detail and calm demeanor are certain to make your settlement process go smoothly.

Timothy C. PriceTimothy C. Price

Timothy C. Price graduated from The University of Georgia School of Law in 1989. While in law school, he served on the editorial board of the Georgia Journal of International and Comparative Law and on the managing board as an articles editor. Mr. Price received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Georgia State University in 1984.

A native of Georgia, Mr. Price entered private practice in Atlanta, Georgia following law school. He joined Ethridge, Quinn, Kemp, McAuliffe, Rowan & Hartinger as an associate to assist in developing the firms business and estate planning practices. He became a partner in the firm in 2006.

Mr. Price concentrates his practice in business organization, business transactions, commercial real estate transactions, estate planning, probate, and trust administration. Mr. Price’s experience in business, corporate matters and family law enable him to anticipate issues in commercial and residential real estate matters thereby better serving his clients, as he considers all the implications of a transaction.

Mr. Price is a member of the Maryland State Bar and the State Bar of Georgia. He holds memberships in the Maryland State Bar Association’s Section of Business Law, Section of Estate and Trust Law, and Section of Elder Law, as well as the Montgomery County Bar Association and the Frederick County Bar Association.

Mr. Price’s wife, Alison, is Senior Assistant Dean and Director of Admissions at George Mason University School of Law. The Prices have three sons and live in Chevy Chase, Montgomery County, Maryland, where both are involved in their sons’ public school education. In addition to serving on his local village council, Mr. Price - an avid baseball fan - coaches his sons’ spring and fall baseball teams.

Maureen M. RenehanMaureen M. Renehan
Maureen Renehan is a 2002 cum laude graduate of North Carolina State University, where she received her Bachelors of Art in English. While attending N.C. State, she was an active member of the Alpha Delta Pi sorority and a participant in the English Honor’s Society. Maureen also attended the Spanish-American Institute of International Education in Sevilla, Spain for a semester where she studied Spanish.

Maureen received her juris doctor in 2007 from the University of Baltimore. During law school, she was a member of the Phi Delta Phi Legal Honors Fraternity. Maureen worked as a judicial intern for the Honorable John W. Debelius III of the Circuit Court for Montgomery County, Maryland, as a law clerk at the family law firm of Brodsky, Greenblatt, Renehan & Pearlstein, Chartered, and as a law clerk at Ethridge, Quinn, Kemp, McAuliffe, Rowan & Hartinger.

Upon graduation from law school, Maureen served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable John W. Debelius, III of the Circuit Court for Montgomery County, Maryland. Upon the completion of her clerkship, Maureen returned to Ethridge, Quinn, Kemp, McAuliffe, Rowan & Hartinger as an associate.

Maureen currently focuses her practice in the area of family and real estate law. Since real estate is often a significant part of any family law matter, her background in real estate complements her family law practice very well. Maureen is licensed to practice law in the State of Maryland. She is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association, the Bar Association of Montgomery County, and the Montgomery County Inns of Court.

Patricia Healy RosePatricia Healy Rose

Patricia Healy Rose received her Juris Doctorate from Catholic University Columbus School of Law in 1998, and is admitted to practice law in Maryland, the District of Columbia and New Jersey. Tricia is a graduate of Georgetown University and continues to support Georgetown as a University Alumni Admissions interviewer.

Tricia is a former financial consultant with John Hancock Financial Services, and was licensed in Series 6 and 63 Mutual Fund and Annuity investing. She worked as an intern in the State’s Attorney Office for Montgomery County, Maryland and was law clerk to the Honorable Judge William Turner, Circuit Court for Montgomery County, Maryland, for two years. Following her clerkship, Tricia worked in the real estate legal field, ultimately working along side Henry C. Clarke, Jr. and Lynn Caudle Boynton with Signature Settlement Services in Gaithersburg, MD. She has been associated with Olde Key Title since it’s inception in November 2006.

Tricia is originally from Long Island, New York, but has lived in Rockville since 1992 with her husband Michael P. Rose and their four children. She is very active with her church and is a board member of St. Raphael’s Nursery School. She along with her husband, support various local charities including Stepping Stones Shelter of Rockville.

Caryn G. SiegelCaryn S. Wetmore
Caryn S. Wetmore is a 2004 graduate of University of Maryland, College Park, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Marketing, and a 2008 graduate of University of Baltimore School of Law, where she received her Juris Doctor. During law school, Caryn served as a law clerk at a title company near Baltimore, Maryland and later served as a Rule 16 Student Attorney with the School of Law’s Community Development Clinic. Caryn was also a Supervising Teaching Assistant for the School of Law’s Legal Analysis, Research, and Writing program.

Caryn joined Olde Key Title in 2009 and currently focuses her practice of law in the areas of real estate, probate and estate planning, and business entity formation. She is licensed to practice law in the State of Maryland and the District of Columbia. Caryn currently is a member of the American Bar Association, the Maryland State Bar Association, the Women’s Bar Association of Maryland, the Bar Association of Frederick County, and the Bar Association of Montgomery County. Caryn actively serves as the Frederick County Representative on the Maryland State Bar Association's Young Lawyers Section Council.

Caryn is from Montgomery County, Maryland and currently lives in Olney, Maryland. She is active in the Montgomery County community and serves on a committee with Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County, Maryland. Caryn married Michael Wetmore in July 2010.
